Psychologist (Bayswater)

Angela is a registered Counselling Psychologist (MPsych) with over twenty years of experience working with children, adolescents and their families in private practice, Non-Government Organisations, and large Government Departments including Education, Child Protection, and Health.

 In her therapy with young people, she draws on a variety of evidence-based interventions specifically adapted to be child-friendly, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focussed CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.  Angela has a particular interest in the importance of attachment relationships in the psychological development of young people and has advanced training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy , and Circle of Security Parenting.   She is also passionate about using mindfulness-based interventions to manage anxiety, aggression or mood difficulties, and works collaboratively with schools, medical practitioners, allied health and families (where supported).  Angela is also a Board Approved Supervisor and enjoys developing and facilitating training and workshops.
